How to Order Cabinet Doors

Since our doors are completely custom, all aspects of the design must be specified. Please follow this guide to ensure that you get the cabinet door design that you want.

  1. Print an order form (you are welcome to use our electronic order form, if you choose, but that is best for large orders and customers who have ordered doors before).
  2. Choose a type: miter, stick & cope, or MDF. For stick & cope and MDF, you must also choose a door arch shape. Also choose whether you want raised panel, flat panel, frame only (ready for glass inserts), or a drawer front. This should be enough information to determine your design number.
  3. Select a wood species and grade.
  4. Pick profiles for panel, outside edge, and inside rail. (Inside and outside profiles for miter doors are built into the molding, if you have chosen miter doors, skip this part.)
  5. Determine rail width (2-1/4" is considered the standard, but you must explicitly specify the rail width). For miter rails, you must also choose miter rail molding style, all of which come in pre-defined widths.
  6. Decide whether you'd like any additional options, such as multiple panels, or applied mouldings.
  7. Once your door design is complete, just tell us quantity and dimensions.
